We collect some basic information when you interact with us. We use it to communicate with you, run our business, and make sure you're only hearing from us because you actually want to. We don't sell your data. We don't do anything sketchy with it. And you can opt out or ask us to delete it anytime.

What information we collect
We keep it simple. The information we collect falls into two categories:
- Information you give us directly. When you fill out a contact form, book a call, sign up for our mailing list, or get in touch by email, you're sharing things like your name, email address, job title, and company. We only collect what you choose to give us.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours collects basic technical data when you visit — things like your browser type, device, and how you found us. This is standard operational data used to keep the site running and understand how people are using it. We do not use this to identify you personally.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Respond to your inquiries and manage our coaching and consulting relationships.
- Send you emails, newsletters, or updates you've signed up for or expressed interest in.
- Keep records necessary to operate a professional coaching practice in line with ICF ethical standards.
- Improve how our website and services work.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the services you've engaged with or expressed interest in.
Email communications and your consent
We take consent seriously. Both because Canadian law requires it under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), and because we'd rather talk to people who actually want to hear from us.
We will only send you commercial or promotional email if you have explicitly opted in, or if we have an existing business relationship with you and the communication is relevant to that relationship. Every email we send includes a clear and easy way to unsubscribe using the link in the footer. If you unsubscribe, we will remove you promptly. No guilt trips, no re-adding you six months later.
Where your data is stored
We use Ontraport as our CRM and email platform. Your data is stored and processed on Ontraport's servers, which are located in the United States. By providing your information, you acknowledge that it may be transferred to and stored in the US, which has different privacy laws than Canada. Ontraport maintains its own privacy and security standards, you can review their privacy policy at ontraport.com.
For email communications directly with us, we use Proton Mail, which operates out of Switzerland.
We take reasonable steps to ensure any third-party platforms we use handle your data responsibly, and we strategically chose the platforms we use for this reason.
How long we keep your information
We keep your information for as long as we have an active relationship with you, or as long as is reasonably necessary for business and legal purposes. If you ask us to delete your information and there's no legal obligation requiring us to keep it, we will do so.
Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law — specifically the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) — you have the right to:
